Safety is one of the most common questions travelers ask when planning a trip to Africa. So, is Kenya a safe destination? Our answer is a confident yes.

Kenya is widely regarded as a secure country to visit, especially for guests taking part in guided safaris and professionally organised tours such as the ones we offer. With experienced private drivers and guides, travel is carefully planned and well managed, allowing visitors to focus on enjoying the experience.

As with major cities anywhere in the world, there are certain areas in cities like Nairobi and Mombasa that are best avoided. Simple, common-sense precautions make a big difference. We recommend using hotel-arranged transport at night, avoiding walking alone after dark, keeping valuables discreet, and leaving flashy jewellery at home.

By following these basic guidelines, most visitors enjoy a safe, relaxed, and memorable stay in Kenya.
